Bihar Board : Latest Update From Bihar School Examination Board The exam pattern of Matri and Intermediate Examination 2025 has been changed. as you Also know, the last several years the examination is being conducted on the same pattern. Bihar Board has changed the exam pattern of 10th and 12th so that it is easier for the students.
More than 30 lakh students have registered for Bihar Board Exam 2025. 17 lakh students will appear for the 10th board exam and more than 13 lakh students will appear for the 12th board exam. The Bihar Board has also announced the exam date, the information of which is given below.
Matric and Intermediate examinations will be conducted by the Bihar Board in February month. According to media reports, the annual Matriculation examination will be start from February 17 and the annual Intermediate examination will be Start from February 3 in two shifts. CCTV camera will be installed at the examination centre for peaceful conduct of the examination.

According to the report of Bihar School Examination Board, Patna, the question papers of Matriculation and Intermediate will be divided into two sections, Section A and Section B. Objective questions will be asked in the first section and short answer and long answer questions will be asked in the second section.
In the written exam of the subject which has practical of 30 marks, 70 objective type questions will be asked in section A, out of which 35 questions will have to be answered, 35 questions will be optional, Each question will carry one mark. there will be 20 short answer type questions in section B, out of which 10 questions will have to be answered, each question will be of 2 marks, there will be 10 long answer type questions, out of which 5 questions will have to be answered, each question will be of 5 marks
In the subject of Matriculation and Intermediate for which practical examination is of 20 marks, there will be 80 objective type questions in section A in which 40 questions have to be answered and section B will have 24 short answer type questions in which 12 questions have to be answered, each question will be of 2 marks and there will be 6 long answer type questions in which 3 questions have to be answered, each question will be of 6 marks.
Bihar Board Matric and Intermediate exams are of 100 marks in which there is no practical. Section A will have 100 objective questions out of which 50 have to be answered and Section B will have 30 short answer questions out of which 15 have to be answered and 8 long answer questions out of which 4 questions have to be answered.
Bihar School Examination Board is talking about conducting those examinations online which do not include matriculation and intermediate examinations. If matriculation and intermediate examinations are included, then Bihar Board will inform about it. All the higher level examinations conducted by Bihar School Examination Board will now be online, where students will have to appear for the examination by going to the examination center and not from home.
